Question about champion system

Hi

If my current character only VR 12 and when the Champion system implemented to the server, will there any big difference on the number of champion points i get compare with character with VR 14?

or is there any other big difference between people who have reached VR 14 and those who have not?

and the last one is, i read the introduction about champion system in mmorpg.com and they said that there is 1200 Champion points in total which we can get it from doing anything that yield exp (questing, grinding, dungeon) and this system is account wide.

now my question is :
if I make few alt and lvl it until 50 and do all quest in three faction just like now, will i get max champion system instead of grinding on 1 character?

Thank you

    Hello @GazettE,

at the ESO guild summit we've got a lot of informations about the champion-system, which will come in the future (sooner).

So, all characters above 50 (Vet 1-14) can reach experience for champion-points. That means, there will be a new bar, where you can see, WHEN you'll get a new champion-point.

If you are Veteran 12, you will not get the experience, that a Veteran 14 gets. You'll get a little less experience than a Veteran 14 character.

And yes, there ARE a lot of champion-points to reach, it's a little bit like the paragon-system of diablo 3. You have a lot to do, and you'll get always experience for your champion points, if you are 50/Vet 1 or above. But every point gives you less sense: For example, your first point in "armor" gives you 1,0%, but the 40th point in "armor" gives you only 0,1%.

And to answer your last question: All of your champion points, that you'll get, will be landing in the same champion-pool of your account. So let's say, you have your maincharacter with veteran 14 and an alt with veteran 1. When you level your alt, your points go into that pool and then you can spend it on all of your characters. So if you get 1 point with your alt, you can spend 1 on your alt and 1 on your maincharacter.

So it's not necessary to level a few alts to get more points. It's important to play anyway. Because there will be a lightened-bonus for your playing time if you logged in or if you logged out. That Bonus lowers the time you need for another champion-point.

That's how I understand the champion-system at the guild summit 2014. Feel free to correct me, if you were there too or if you are a developer ;)

That answers one of the huge lingering questions that's been kicking around for awhile: if the points would be duplicated across all your 50s, or shared as a communal pool.

I still want to know if the three vet costumes are going to remain available, though I get the feeling no one's even talking about that anymore... unless vet ranks are actually going to remain as a separate, parallel system.

I'm somewhat confused by the above statement. If a V1 alt levels and the champion point that is earn can be used by the V1 character AND your V14 main, it would seem to me that the more alts you have the more points each character would have to spend.

So why would it NOT be necessary to level a few alts to get more points?

    What am I missing?

That the champion progression will be linear. So, if it takes 200k XP to get your first champion point, it'll be 200k more to get your second, 200k to go from your 531st to your 532nd, and so forth.

They've also said the Champion points will be awarded for roughly every hour adventuring. So, there's no real reason not to mess around on your VR2 instead of your VR14, if they're both getting a point every 50-70 minutes.
