I cant even kill the guards

I was handed my butt in pieces twice yesterday when I tried to kill a guard at the pve area in Cyrodiil. I am vet 9 and couldn't even make their health go down even a little bit.
Very unhappy right now

    PvE area in Cyrodil...did I miss an Update? :confused:

    Just 1 guard, no matter the guard, can be taken down by any veteran class. Keep a CC on them and they drop like flies.

    Perhaps there was a mender/healer around? Not to sure what location you're talking about.

    There are guards which walk through the 3 main quest towns that are VR5 like every other NPC in Cyrodiil but they are also Rank 1 "bosses"(single pip champions). They can be challenging for some PVE builds. Like anything else, it just takes practice.

    you use a bow? just use scatter shot when he/she gets close and keep firing arrows into them.

    OP, post your character's race/class/spec cus I can solo guards 1v1 on my vr1 stamina-specced dk.

    In other words, you're doing something wrong.

    Yep I am doing something wrong and that is not being able to play my sorc sooo, back to my dk or my temp as they can take them out no trouble at all.

    One thing to enjoy myself at release, was to heal the guard when enemies was killing it. Just a gentle heal and back to stealth.... Of course I use to kill them after they wasted some of their resources.
    Add PvP loot drops for some risk/reward in this game.

    I literally spammed crystal shards/fragments and neither of the guards went down even a tiny bit.. but I did.. hehe, nose into the ground.
