Craglorn solo / Group

Would there be any chance to be able to make a choice entering Craglorn, the choice beeing entering as a Solo character or as a group ? The area seems to have lots of interesting stuff storywise, but as a more solo-player, I find it inaccessable, since running into enemies (which are quite dense populated), you dont get access to the rather cool stories.

Yes, make Craglorn group or Solo instanced.

Heck any dungeon or Delve in the game could be this way. Choose what you want when you enter. If the group is formed, then the Group Leader has to access the dungeon first to set the group instance and type (Norm/Vet) and then the others follow. Or it operates as a regular Solo dungeon like all the others are.

Offer different rewards or achievements for Group and Solo.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

You can enter any area as a group of one, as I understand it. I have yet to see an exception to this.

Survivability that way, however goes down about 75%.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.

It's logical that these areas should have this flexibility built in. However, this has never been the design intent. Many of the mechanics require a group (doors open only when the whole group stands on the right spots, etc.). These areas were designed for elite endgame PvE groups. One does not simply make them work for solos without a complete redesign, and this is never going to happen.

Was it a mistake for ZOS to make this content inaccessible to solo players? Many of us think so, but others say "this is an MMO, deal with it." ZOS should have foreseen how divisive this issue would become and devised a strategy to deal with it.

Promises to address the issue in the "future" are too little, too late, if not completely disingenuous.

The bottom line for me is this: ZOS has failed to understand their own game and the gaming community that has gathered around it.

    It's mind boggling, actually.

Well, its the same misstake most other MMO's have made, no solo experience after the main story is made. The three story thing (Cadwells silver and gold) was probably a strategy to give them time to release new content, only, that the crowd that got the new content, as usual, is the PvP/group players (as usual, but not to say that they think its right either :) ). I do hope that new solo player cntent get released fast, since I tire of doing the same quests again and again, only with different classes. I personally have a tendency to remember quests quite well (and also recognize when the same ideas have been used in a different realm).

Well, in short, I want more solo content soonish. I mean. PvP is repeatable beacuse it isnt the same every time. Solo content get old after three times.
