New item sets...
A few points.
One - the trifecta stat boost makes these item sets really lacking for stamina dps builds. I have a stamina dps build that doesn't use even ONE ability that scales with magicka, the two magicka based abilities that I do use I only use once every twenty seconds or so. This makes any magicka gains to me a stupid opportunity cost.
Two - trying to make sets that are universally appealing is silly, again - opportunity cost comes into play, do you really need that + stamina when you could have magicka recovery.... It would be much more appealing if ZoS released several item sets aimed at different builds.
Three if every *** itemset that ZoS releases is: hp stam magicka - 5 set then there will be some very very distinct individuality problems forming in no time.
4 - unless they are actually more optimal than current - won't be enough of a carrot to try for them. I can assure you that my hundings rage five set (which i can't stack with the 2 mundus boosts set) gives me more than the 7-9% dps boost I'd get from having two mundus stones. (Thief and shadow instead of just shadow)

I would note that you are forgetting about the supposed introduction of "season gear" which right now, we know exactly zip about. Not that you don't make good points above, you do, but... to decry risk of gear stagnation just yet is a bit premature.
