Elder FIRE Online.

Being a fan of playing a vampire for all its uberness... the sheer amount of fire attacks/skills in this game is daunting.

I am completely and utterly shocked to see a cold attack, and lightning attacks are about as common as chicken teeth.

Less fire and more sparkle.

Fire is everywhere because electricity is unharnessed.

The citizens of Tamriel live in a world where candles and campfires drive away the darkness; the only alternative is magic.
Fire magic is the juxtaposition of the two; all the fears of the dark come together to inspire a view that Fire spells are the most valuable.

    Ummm.... what?

Tons of lightning skills. Weapons dedicated to the spreading of lightning. Same with cold. People just use fire on the off chance they will hit a vampire. Which is actually a high percentage.

Just absolutely no reason to use anything other than fire because it does the most damage normally, not to mention when it catches you on fire it does more and more and more.

Oh, you're referring to PvP rather than PvE content.

Fire is chosen for PvP because the amount of vampires in PvP is so high.

Likewise, some thoughtful players choose to not play vampires but still build fire resistance, in order to counter the damage loadouts in PvP.

Personally, playing as a vampire in PvP with a single fire resistance ring was always sufficient for me.
Camouflaged Hunter is far more dangerous to vampires in PvP.

The only good vampire is one that is on fire.
Maybe when werewolfs get a boost we will see more poison attacks.

But out of the five elemental attacks, fire is the best by far, so people use it more
Fire: Increases critical strike chance + Dot
    Shock: Splash damage (useless)
Frost: snare (CC but you can break out of it)
Poison: Dot but the fire dot does more damage)
Disease: Lowers healing, useless unless your fighting a healer

So Fire elemental damage is the best, the fact that it also does more damage to vampire is just an extra bonus. I see no reason ever to use any other elemental damage. Also Fire elemental damage stacks, the others do not
