For example you are crafting a homespun robe which costs 7 pieces of Jutte and gives you a armour value of 22 for a level 1 character. If you add another piece of jutte (8 pieces) it will give you an armour value of 24 for a level 3 character.
But you can't lower the level as far as I'm aware.

You realize he means raising the level of dropped items and previously crafted items with a process separate from the initial crafting, yes?
Nobody needs to do anything, I've been using dropped set items that I improved on my main from VR 6-10, one set was improved with tempers, the other kept dropping in the next VR level up.AlexDougherty wrote: »I wasn't sure, so I covered the crafting. I can see the appeal for raising dropped items, but after a certain point you need to start using crafted sets, for the bonuses, which makes drops a source of research material and little else.
