Cyrodiil cave Pothole Caverns boss not spawning

Pothole Caverns' boss Diabolist Vethisa does not seem to spawn. I've cleared almost all caves in Cyrodiil in the last two or so days and I've stumbled into five people in this cave waiting for this particular boss. Other bosses in the cave spawn with reasonable intervals after you kill one but this simply does not seem to spawn - ever. I tried relogging, entering other areas, I entered a Guest campaign and also entered with my other characters - Diabolist Vethisa simply does not spawn. Is this a known bug? Or has anyone actually managed to kill this boss recently?

Yes, this is an old thread but almost a year later and the problem is still a problem.

Yeh I remember this one. Think it took me about 2 weeks to complete those bosses. Best time was early in the morning when people hadn't already been thru there.
Of course, that was before grinding delves in Cyro was a thing.

We were just after skyshards and hate leaving delves unfinished, 2 delves in 2 hours, and only completed one (after killing the same boss several times so another would spawn).

It's just plain stupid to have them set up this way, especially in Cyrodiil where you have to visit enemy territory to even get a large portion of them.

Spawns perfectly for me. The only boss-spawn that is bugged at this moment is Viro Redhands in Crimson Cove.

Same issue in this cavern with 2 bosses tonight. Blighttooth and Diabolist would not spawn. Killed the other guy five times.

The issue still persists, Diabolist Vethisa is the only one who spawned for me though.

Please fix it! It's been a year now.

Been running from cave to cave for a few days now just to catch the bosses when they have recently spawned. I think today is my 4th day(did a run or two of every single cave I had missed every day) and Diabolist Vethisa is the only one I have yet to even see.

I completed the Cyro delves in 2 days. I spent hours in this cave waiting for one of them to spawn, can't remember which. You've gotta keep at it, circle the bosses killing whichever one is up and just hope rng is kind and spawns the one you need. It takes time, certain delves have crazy long timers which I believe is on purpose.

It's great that you searched for an answer, but you picked a thread that only commiserates with you, not one with answers, of which there are many.

The Cyrodiil delve boss spawns are RANDOM. Every time you kill a boss, there is a random chance on which boss will spawn next. In practice this means you keep killing the bosses that do spawn until Diabolist Vethisa, or whichever, finally spawns. At least in this cave, it's just running in a big circle, getting lots of XP and resources while waiting for the spawn. I've completed the Cyrodiiil delve achievement on two characters, and could do it on any others following the method above. Just takes patience, and a little luck. Good luck to you!

Pothole is fine for me but the one boss in Newt Cave will NOT spawn. More than 6 hours in this cave with multiple clears of all adds and still no boss. Killed the big troll 11 times but not the other one

Just keep clearing all of the other bosses and eventually it will spawn. Sorry that this takes so long.

Seriously, what the hell is up with the boss in the main room? Has anyone figured out the trick to getting this boss to spawn. It's the only delve in Cyro that I haven't completed.

Btw, you can't complain that forum users should search the threads before starting a new one, and then complain when they legitimately necro a thread.

LOL. I literally hit "Post Reply" and look at the TV and Serrin Vol was just standing there.

I've been waiting for about 50 minutes in Pothole now. Serrin Vol has respawned 5 times, Blighttooth twice, Vethisa not once. Lovely consistency...

That was the last cave I needed on 1 of my characters. The other two, it was Red Ruby Cave. There's always one boss that takes forever in one of the delves, no matter how many toons you run through.

Edit: Finally spawned and I killed it. Took 1 hour and 37 minutes.

This'll probably get locked as it's a necro but it's sad to see it's still a problem 3 years on. I don't know about this specific delve but I had problems too with them in Cyrodiil.
