✭✭I used to use LOL for posts that make me laugh but I read that most people take LOL as an insult so I try to use awesome instead.
I say lots of funny things; that's where most of my LOLs come from.
When I get an LOL on a more serious post I assume it's from a passive aggressive troll who does not have a good sense of humor and gets confused about the meaning of LOL.

This is called a "Discussion Forum" because we are expected to Discuss things, disagreeing or berating someone just by clicking "LOL" does not add to the discussion... it's more like the class clown making snide comments from the back of the room but not loud enough for anyone to hear.Of all the things I have lost, I miss my mind the most...5 -

Because the forum police decided that if you agree you can click a button and drive-by without having to justify or explain yourself; yet if you disagree with something, you must be put on the spotlight to explain why.

Disagree was removed during beta stage because it was ABUSED.
Until you can formulate an arguement that it won't be abused again, it will stayed removed. Personally I wouldn't even try, since people haven't changed significantly in the past year.
And I do use LOL for when I find something funny, I don't use it as a disagree button, mainly because it's more fun to tell them they're wrong.People believe what they either want to be true or what they are afraid is true!
