You pointed a way to grind this boss that just takes longer to do by not exploiting the respawn mechanic. What difference does that really make to grind it out in a way that takes longer to do, vs grinding it out in a way that gets done quicker?
Because one method isn't resetting adds to make a boss spawn every 7 seconds by hiding on a rock and collecting 37,000XP + Boss Loot over 500 times an hour. That just seems...off....but hey apparently that's just me and it's all working as intended.

✭Here's the deal...if you skip all of Cadwell's gold, you will leave a ton of SPs on the table.
If you're like me, and suffered through cadwell's gold, ALL WBs, all solo and public dungeons...and now needed a way to level from VR9.8 to VR14...then HUSH YOUR MOUTH and grind away.
I love PvP in ESO and will play for many months down the road, until I'm forced to do group based PvE content.

✭Found this out in my search for the 7 second spawn. Was a group of people running to these spots, to and from, killing the "world bosses" that spawn. Lots of xp. I went from 20% remaining xp to vr13 to hitting vr13 in under an hour. Was pretty fun and not a boring grind ^_^

So, your issue the amount of time it takes, or rather, the amount of time people save doing it this way?
The whole idea of chasing a few million exp points just to be able to make armor that is 1% (or so) better is the part of the game that should really chap your behind, not how long it takes. But, that's just me. Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Prophecy:The broken dynamic of this game's confused orientation and struggle between MMO vs. TES as well as single player vs. MMO which has forced the developers to implement a less than ideal system of leveled quests, inadequate Experience system and under-challenged players will only be amplified tenfold when you remove the relieving aspect of Veteran content! Spectrasoul✭✭✭My thoughts for things such as Hircines are that it wasn't originally intended to be a way for people to grind exp quickly. However, the fact that it became so popular meant that it wasn't exactly something they could take away - I can imagine the whine now.
I don't think it should be taken away, Craglorn is nigh on impossible to quest solo and it's a nightmare finding a group on the same part of the story as you are. (Not well thought out at all.)
Levelling is really less important on this game than many others so the fact you can spend a few hours grinding them really is not important.1 -

Once I was done with Cadwell gold and entered Craglorn for the first time in my life, I was level VR11.5. I actually skipped a number of region 4 men dungeons, because at my time (before the un-needed, sad VR nerf), there were all of 3 guys per region tops.Vaerah, Dark Elf Magicka Sorceress

✭So people are bragging in Craglorn zone chat that they are pulling in "37,000 XP every 7 seconds" by not killing adds on a landscape boss (therefore it keeps respawning). They're educating everyone else in zone chat on exactly how to do it.
One person says they leveled VR 7 to VR 11 in under an hour. Zone: "I don't care about VR exploiting because VR is going away". Wow.
And then there's all the loot they are collecting...by gaming this mechanic.
It's been 36 hours since I filed this as a bug.
Working as intended? Or Exploit?

Maybe this should be working as intended, this just goes to show that people do not like the method of leveling given by ZOS!
Not everyone likes the grind fest leveling given by ZOS, I don't want to grind through other faction story lines to level, I want to roll an new toon and do the other faction story lines.
You only need to do a story once, there's no real fun doing it a couple of times that just gets boring and predictable.3 -

So he doesnt have as much right to kill the mobs as you have to farm the boss ?
Just because you use it as a leveling site....doesnt mean it is designed/intended as a leveling site.

OP does this is as well, but for AD. He uses the same name in game. Also, all the guilds he runs have the acronym "BBC." My guess is he can't get enough of it.

his character name is skinny, do not invite him to groups

Just because you use it as a leveling site....doesnt mean it is designed/intended as a leveling site.
what u say is true, however this is not the case, he is specifically doing this to deter other players, not to better his characters.
this is detrimental to the players who are grinding, yet the only reason he admittedly does it is to deter our speedy leveling process.
now, i appreciate if u have an issue with the way im doing things, but if you decide to stop a bunch of players from using a certain grind that we enjoy, well.. say goodbye to any group content for you in the future, b/c im taking pics and posting your name all over the place.
this is not conducive to a group friendly environment, if this is something that bothers you, go through the proper channels, do not take it out on the players who have figured out a way to make their leveling process speedier1 -

Hiyde has been grieving players that these locations for days, messing the pulls and bosses up for 12 players just trying to level. Anyone that is in his guild needs to be aware that this guild leader is a very immature person who I personally have seen botting resources and griefing the player base. For him to come and post anything on this type of a topic is a joke and so is his guild who does the exact same thing.0
