I would make a poll if I knew how, but I don't. So what would you prefer?

Up until you find a werewolf gnawing on someone's rear end because that's the way they were facing.

But why would Vampires feed like that, it gives no possibility of creating new Vampires, just corpses. (Vampires in this game are technically not undead, just diseased).
By feeding by biting, there is a chance of passing the disease along, furthering the vampire cause.
(Vampires in this game are technically not undead, just diseased)

They're undead. Fighter's Guild skills affect them and werewolves as well if you use that passive.

That's not necessarily a good indication (ESO isn't exactly faithful to lore).

I think they are considered undead, Skyrim's dawnbreaker enchantment (destroy or fear undead) works on vampires.

I was speaking from a Lore perspective, according to the lore it's a disease, and they are still alive, but changed.
From a game mechanic perspective they are treated as undead, and effects that damage undead affect them too.
But technically speaking they are not undead.

Since the disease had divine origins, could it not transcend the person's body between life and undeath? Especially since the disease culminates in vampirism, as opposed to vampirism being the disease itself. It's this reason that even the game mechanics in the entire series consider vampires undead ... because they are.

Gotcha. I'm definitely the wrong person for matters pertaining to lore, so I shall bow out as gracefully as a Goat can.

Well there is some ambiguity about it, with some sources saying they are undead, and some saying they are alive but changed.
But I personally I take the view that it's essentially a cross between a disease and a curse, and that they have to be alive to have it.

I suppose it's open to interpretation. However when spells/enchantments/lore based weapons designed to slay undead work against them I'm more inclined to think that a divine disease doesn't have to play by the rules of mundane diseases.

Fair enough, I'll have to disagree, but I can respect your viewpoint.

Because clearly the game designers failed to consult with you prior to designing this aspect of the game. Shame on them.
