I'm here primarily for roleplay but if I didn't enjoy the game itself then RP would certainly not be enough to hold me. I like both solo and group play. I enjoy PvP but find a good deal of the "hardcore" PvP players to be absolutely deplorable human beings and their incessant demands and whining often destroys otherwise promising games. Ideally PvP SHOULD be part of RP but game designers can never seem to figure that out and instead end up catering to the PvP-only demographic.

My Vampire Witch is nearly 1000 years old and the conflict she sees around her is just the continuation of conflict from ages past. She is a hero, a consummate professional, and her work is saving civilization.

The majority of pvp players don't want to rp. The majority of mmo players don't want to rp.

Why would they cater pvp towards rp when that is not what most people are interested in?

it's rather hard to actually fight and rp (or even not rp) tbh. You are so busy trying not to die you don't have time for dramatic monologues, and you can't even unmask your assailant because you are in combat and you can't remove armor.

As long as you are trying to kill enemy faction members, you are already at the maximum level of rping anyway. You are rping a soldier in one of the alliances.

Anyway, I certainly don't want a bunch of arbitrary restrictions and rules so 500 or so people on the server are happier.

The people I have in my contact list are very nice people. We have done some fun group challenges together but I really do like playing solo. I am waiting for more content. May have to quit the game for awhile.

I mostly roleplay alone, just like in previous TES installments but i am allways ready to engage to RP with anyone that is somewhat serious about.

I love seeing other people in general game world but i hate seeing them in any dungeon or similar area.

A core player that plays everything the game has to offer, I group I solo I pvp I pve I craft, what ever there is to do.

Other - because mine isn't quite there. I prefer to play with others but I also spend a great deal of time experimenting with classes and builds and character development pre-vet. As is I play mostly solo and get my social play in when I go to Cyrodiil. It's nice just being around people with a common purpose so to speak, but I can only take so much of the Team Speak chatter and few guildies regardless of guild have characters pre-vet around the same level so we end up solo throughout most of the PvE..shrug. Not sure what type this makes me. I guess I like a little of all of it and the MMO/social aspect of a TES game is enough to make me sub. Otherwise I might as well just play Skyrim right...
