Why am I getting PvP notifications in PvE zones?

I'm getting things like so -and-so has dropped the elder scroll and whatnot, but I'm not even in Cyrodiil.

✭✭✭✭✭It's because you joined a campaign.
There is an addon to remove the messages. However, one thing that might make you happy about this, is look at your character screen. If the Alliance you joined is making headway in the war, then you get some nice passives in the PvE world to use.Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

✭'cause zenimax in their infinite wisdom decided not to give you a choice on notification display.

Redlag✭✭✭If you enjoyed this game beyond PvE you would realize its to help your team. It's like like a fire alarm at a fire station.
Even if you don't like PvP. Im sure you enjoy the buffs you get when they take scrolls.0 -
