Concealed Weapon still breaking on weapon swap.

Concealed Weapon (Veiled Strike morph): Your stealthed movement speed bonus is no longer removed if another player character casts Shadow Cloak while stealthed.

Got into game, tested the new update. Glad to see this fix in place and is working, but part of the issue was missed.

Concealed Weapon now works correctly if I use Shadow Cloak while Sneaking; no break present, very pleased.

However, the other portion of the issue I reported is still in place.

Concealed Weapon will bug out and stop providing me the speed boost if I weapon swap while Sneaking.
I have to leave Sneak and enter into Sneak again in order to reactivate the bonus.

Description:
- Slot Concealed Weapon on first weapon bar
- CTRL to crouch and begin Sneaking, bonus works great
- Cast Shadow Cloak while Sneaking, when it wears out Concealed Weapon remains active. Great fix, thank you.
- Hit weapon swap button and swap to my second weapon bar (doesn't have Concealed Weapon on it)
- Concealed Weapon bonus is lost, makes sense
- Hit weapon swap button again and swap back to first bar (with Concealed Weapon)
- Concealed Weapon bonus does not reactivate
- I must hit CTRL again to stop Sneaking and stand up
- After standing up, hit CTRL to go back into Sneak, bonus starts working again.

@ZOS_GinaBruno‌ and @ZOS_JessicaFolsom‌ could you look into recreating this and possibly devising a fix?
The bonus is supposed to enhance Nightblade's ability to Sneak, but if we have to constantly leave Sneak in order to receive the bonus after weapon swapping it is not as beneficial as it is intended to be.

A band-aid fix for this is to slot Concealed Weapon on both bars; however, with the limited amount of hotkeys for combat doing so hampers the rest of my gameplay.

Thank you kindly for looking into this, and I hope a fix for the remaining portion of the issue can be inbound at some point.

I just want to see our skills working properly. I am not looking for a venue to vent the frustrations I encounter with them; I just would like to see them fixed and have my stresses alleviated.

then you are obviously stronger and more hopefull then i am, i have prety much given up hope to be honest.
good job in the struggle and hopefully you keep strugling with them as i now am retiring from my attempts perminantly with this situation.

I totally respect where you are coming from and comprehend the sense of resignation due to all the various issues Nightblade faces.

I do not consider myself to be strong or hopeful though.
I have just learned how to remove some level of emotional attachment from troublesome issues, and attempt to deal with them as objectively as I can.
I credit daily meditation. I used to have a lot of anger and stress management issues; they made me rather unproductive. I still struggle with frustrations, I just attempt to step back from an issue before dealing with it now.

I don't see where this is a bug. You have a skill on a bar and it works. Then you swap to a bar that does not have the skill on it it does not work. Why would you expect the skill effect to come back just because you swap bars back to the one that has the skill? No other skill in the game does this that I am aware of.

I don't see where this is a bug. You have a skill on a bar and it works. Then you swap to a bar that does not have the skill on it it does not work. Why would you expect the skill effect to come back just because you swap bars back to the one that has the skill? No other skill in the game does this that I am aware of.

If I have the skill on both bars, the effect is never lost. The skill is not a cast-to-activate, it is a slotted passive bonus.

Unlike something like Magelight or Siphoning Strikes, this skill does not have an option to toggle it back on by activating the hotkey.
Instead, I have to do what I like to refer to as the "chicken dance" where I must cast Shadow Cloak, stand up while cloaked, cast Shadow Cloak again (due to the short duration), crouch back down into undetected.

The skill can be slotted on my bar and provide no bonus at all unless acted upon by outside influences.
I receive other passive bonuses from slotting skills. All of them reactivate their bonuses the instant I swap back to the bar with the skills on it. No other slotted passive bonus that I have breaks in this manner.

Yes buts thats for a skill that needs to be cast to activate, like a sorceror pet or magelight. Concealed is just a passive. If its on the bar when you swap to it, it should activate. You can't activate the skill to enable it like magelight. So you have to go out and back into stealth to make it recognise the passive.

As others have said here - this isn't a situation like Magelight, or a Sorceror's daedric summons. In those cases, they're active cast (but 'permanent' once cast) skills. If you don't have them on both bars, they're turned off once you switch, and need to be recast when you switch back.

Concealed weapon is not a permanent-on-style skill. Its main functionality is as an activated magicka-based damage skill that gives a short stun when activated from stealth / invis. The effect we're talking about isn't an activated / permanent when activated effect. It's part of the Concealed Weapon morph, and it's a passive while slotted effect. If you have concealed weapon on your bar, it's supposed to increase your sneak speed by 25%.

When you swap back and forth between two bars, only one of which has Concealed weapon on it, the passive sneak bonus /should/ turn on and off. As the OP pointed out, it does not. Once you swap out of the bar with CW, the bonus is dead until you un-sneak (stand up).
