The current situation: Nirn gems only drop from harvesting crafting nodes in Upper Craglorn. Given how rare the drops are, dozens of farmers spend hours running from one node to the next, harvesting everything. A common issue is people fighting over crafting nodes protected my mobs: player A kills the mobs, player B "steals" the node ... so much for being in the same faction.
This has turned peaceful harvesting (walking around, looking at the beautiful world design while harvesting a few materials here and there) into some sick competition.
TLDR: people harvesting crafting nodes in upper Craglorn are being d*cks to each other.
My suggestion: add nirn gems as possible drops from clearing the Iron Orc Nirncrux Mines with a very low droprate but still viable enough as an alternative to harvesting. I'd much rather see zergs farming those mines than people running around in Upper Craglorn like madmen. With 5 mines in the area, the amount of players involved should be much lower than at the beginning of the Anomalies Farm back when Craglorn was released.
@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_PierreL and other ZOS people, I'd like to hear back from you regarding this issue. I can't believe you intended to ruin the game's spirit when you designed nirnhoned.
Congrats on update 4 though. New content is great and this new trait is a nice challenge for all crafters.
