Imperials have been given names in ancient Roman style since their introduction as a race, and their legion, Emperor, etc. all lend themselves to Roman influence. The actual Imperial race branches off in many ways, but when in doubt, something vaguely Roman can fill in the gaps.A lot of players seem to equate Imperials with a type of Romanesque culture (names, for example).
