Suggestion: Add Hirelings' Letters to Eidetic Memory

Have you ever accidentally deleted hireling mails before reading the message? I have, on multiple occasions.

I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. I'm also sure there's players that would like to re-read the stories once they're finished.

For these reasons I suggest hirelings' letters be included in the Eidetic Memory library.

Thanks for reading, discuss.

That would be nice, there are some great stories in the hireling mails, although they've changed recently, so being able to look back and read them would be nice.

Yeah, I missed the start of the new stories. Forgot new letters were coming with the patch and deleted all hireling mails unread as I did the past few weeks.

I always read them, but I'd love for them to have their own category in eidetic memory and be stored so we could go back and look at them and chuckle at them at a later date.

No I don't want them to be remembered because they are supposed to be unique and fun and flavor to the game I enjoyed.

They're on UESP, aren't they? But yes, it would be nice to have them in the game too. They're among my favorite writing in the game...

I respect your opinion, but do not understand how this addition would hurt your enjoyment of the game. You could simply not look at that part of eidetic memory.

I did not know they could be found there. Still feels like something that should be ingame though.

Random notes found in anywhere in the world are included in eidetic memory. Notes which are hard to make sense of without context. So, why not hirelings letters, is what I was thinking.

Eidetic memory is acquired by completing the mages guild questline and shows you all books, notes, anything you've ever read.

USEP, or Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages is a massive knowledgebase about all elder scrolls games.

I've never accidentally deleted a hireling's message without reading it (and please don't suggest that you want the "confirm delete" option to come back, we've only just got rid of it!). But I have had to keep tons of the empty messages cluttering up my Inbox because I wanted to read them again. And I have had to delete lots of messages that I wanted to keep because I ran out of Inbox space.

Putting them into Eidetic Memory would seem like the most obvious solution to the problem. Although I have no idea how it could be introduced now... the stories I want to keep are from the old Blacksmithing and Enchanting hirelings.

Should be relatively easy. The latest hireling mail the character in question received is #142, so eidetic memory will display messages #1-142. Done.
