[Unannounced Changes] Manifest addon names & file paths

It's bad form to reduce the allowed length of addon names and their file paths without warning.
Not to mention that the file path limit for embedded files starts from the root of the drive the user has the game installed on? So addon developers are at the mercy of the user's USERNAME on their own machine, and how long that might be. Oh, and we're also at the mercy of the physical location of the game on their system... heavens forbid they install to a lengthy folder name, or a deep nest of folders.
Once again, thoroughly unimpressed with your handling of changes. It seems normal to have unannounced, detrimental, nonsensical changes in every single patch. Are you intentionally trying to drive the rest of us away?

These bugs were a result of fixing some long path name crashes. We will be expanding the add-on name back to 64 characters and the path to 302 characters. We also have code in the works to add an author name column to save space in the add-on title (where names were often put), and code to fix sorting when color markup is used to begin the name. The changes relating to author and sorting will be a bit later on.1 -
A little more information on this. The full directory chain can be at most 200 characters. This often beings with "C:/Users/<UserName>/Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live/AddOns/<AddOnName>/" on Windows. Any directories beyond that point cannot push the total chain over 200 characters.
