But tbh: Yes it's possible to dodge a batswarm and maybe you are dodging in a different direction than batman moves (streaks) and your fine.
But too often batman moves in the same direction, or nailed you down with unbreakable combinations so you can't escape.

And there is always the possibility to block the charge, but it's hard to block it when there are projectiles flying at you all the time draining your stamina and then 3 batmans charging at you at the same time popping batswarm while spaming Impulse which lets you take 3x batswarm + 3x Impulse damage, before you even realized that you're in bat country now.

Or should I block then dodge every time someone charges at me? No more fighting back, because he could be a batman?
With a stamina build this is even a good thing to do, because after blocking 5 snipes, 15 poison arrows, 5x3 crushing shock and 4 crystal frags you won't have any stamina left to fight back when the charging batman arrived.

I've never seen so much whining over one world skill set and one skill in particular in my entire gaming experience. Bat swarm doesn't proc crit damage to non-vampires capable of dealing instant over 4000 damage.
Having played a vampire in PvP, I can tell you there is at LEAST one fire-based spell that insta-kills vampires, no matter how much health they may have when hit with it if it crits. And yeah, I was hit with it often. It would typically proc damage in the 3000+, ONE single effect, not multiple ones. But once I was hit for over 4200 damage, one single effect. No chance to evade it. No roll away, no nothing. Just burnt to ash.

If THAT isn't OP, I have no fracking clue what is. You people afraid of bat swarm can suck up and L2P as far as I'm concerned.

Hmmm the enemy does something that is effective.

So should I think of ways to counter it, or complain about it on the forums till the devs nerf if?

so, this is how! i myself did this a lot of times, didnt realize how worked. but now that you saying, im sure you r right. but i thought i look invisible just for myself, cause other players target me with no problems.

If i died without seeing any enemy, i know what happened. Eight of ten times i died this way. And it`s preety clever to say, find something against it. If it hit with 1800/600/500 dmg there isn`t something left to do. But a nice skill for the oneklickers,... oh sorry twoclickers, don`t forget the firering! Its just boring and in my oppinion gamebreaking.

It only makes you persistently invisible to yourself when the ult ends if you do this - everyone else can still see you. That's a negative, not a positive, to using bats. It's near impossible to play when you can't see yourself. The effect turns off when you switch back to the bar without the Bats ult on it or die/re-log. Already reported the bug twice but you know how fixing things goes in this game...

My main was cured of Vampirism a while ago so I have no stake (no puns intended) in this.

However to be fair as someone who has fought against them and tested them, THEY MAKE AN OBVIOUS SOUND.. they have OBVIOUS ACTIVE ANIMATION...........active as in it's animating right before your eyes. If you see bats, hear bats, you move. You don't have to look for someone. Carry some invis potions on you for such an occasion if need be.

Don't say you can't get away from it because yes you can. You just are trying to keep doing the same tactics over and over that you usually do and are hoping it works. If they are that much of a menace to you, PREPARE FOR IT.

This game can't afford catering to any more noobs, it already wipes your a**es for yas with all the cries of nerf this and that every time someone encounters an issue with one ability..which mind you is an Ultimate and a morph that doesn't give back health unlike it's other counterpart. You already have the potential to 1 shot that Vamp when they don't have their ability up with FG skills, what more do you want? It's time to take off your training wheels and start paying attention at what you need to adjust for in your own skill sets.

Guess what you don't need to target an enemy with??? AOE. AMAZING. Who knew?!!!

Don't nerf batswarm, there would be less vampires in the world and my lethal arrow/camouflaged hunter would be sorry. They're just so easy to kill right now.

I can't wait to go back to WW, but bats is just too good atm. It's not good because of the damage. It's so good because of the design. It has no weaknesses, plus the cost is really low. As a NB I chained 6 bats together yesterday. It made me feel like a DK.

Then you obviously haven't seen the walls and walls of text put forth unceasingly on how bolt escape is the worst addition to the human experience since small pox and absolutely must go if ESO is to survive another day.

I think the only problem with bat swarm is how frequently it can be used. This goes for any ultimate that can be chain-used. It kind of defeated the very notion of an "Ultimate"...

The prevalence of vampires in PvP in general is a serious issue, though, that clearly indicates a severe imbalance that needs to be addressed. I really hate feeling like I'm in Underworld every time I go to Cyrodiil.

It's a bit OP imo, but not horrible. I mean who wouldn't want a mobile veil of blades/standard of might that costs half as much? But, like any ultimate you just need to GTFO.

God yea, I am so scarred by batswarm that I bolt even in pve when someone pops that (or drops banner.)

I don't even slot it in most of my builds tho. VoB and soul strike are better, imo.
