I just hit VR11 and was already wondering how I was going to get to 12... then you added 2 more levels. While I do enjoy grouping for dungeons, world bosses and dolmens, when it comes to leveling I much prefer solo questing. I find getting in large groups and grinding the same mobs over and over boring and tedious and this is not what I envisioned my higher levels to be.

I know this is a social game and I do enjoy the social aspects I have stated above. But when my only option for leveling from here forward is grouping, well it really hurts my desire to play. Besides the fact that I enjoy the stories that go along with quests, which you don't get just grinding.

You have stated before that you want to encourage people to group, and you do that by offering dungeons etc. But you need to consider what your paying customers want too, and forcing your idea of what you think people should want isn't the way to do it.

I couldn't agree more. I do not understand why ALL content past VR10 is for groups only. That's a horrible decision, not to mention patently discriminatory against the single largest player base in the game.

All upper level content should consist of quests and delves for solo/duo players as well as dungeons and trials for group players. ZOS needs to start making new content for everyone and not just a small subset of players.

I love grouping and try as much as I can to do so, when I'm able. Though I do agree. There should be options in the content for all types of players. Even some of the players I know who group more than solo have been wanting a solo questing route for those quick play sessions or when they simply want to lose themselves in the game.

    I agree also.
If I remember correctly, I think they have said that there will be more single player content added in the future. I don't mind grouping at times, but don't like being forced to do so. Hopefully ZOS will find a better balance with future updates.
Still love ESO and will continue to play for the long haul.
For now I'm just having fun bringing my alts along.

Completely agree, I play by myself and prefer to go at my own pace for farming mats etc. The constant rush of a group makes it pretty boring for me.

Easy way would be to instance each dungeon (quests always come in or send you to dungeons) to be Group or Solo when you enter. Make it a choice at the door even. This way the same overworld content could apply to both sets of people.

Now, to keep it more like the rest of the world, you would see others in the solo instances and could even Adhoc or PUG with them once inside. But this is just to keep it the same flavor as the rest of the PvE content.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

ALL new content up to now has been for GROUPS.

The long answer is that all new content should scale with group size.
Content available only for a 4-groups or 12-groups are either :
    - As you say, a horrible decision, not to mention patently discriminatory against the single largest player base in the game.
    - Patently lazy coding. Dolmens scale with the number of attacking players, there's no reason scaling couldn't be implemented elsewhere.

All in all : ZoS, please ... next time, give us a thought ?
Opinions are like buttholes : Everybody has one, and they usually stink.

    3 things to reduce stamina/magicka imbalance :
    - Use magicka to block abilities costing magicka, instead of stamina.
    - Add % damage reduction to heavy armor.
    - Add block penetration to 2H.

50 daily's in Cyrodiil - each vet level doing all daily's gives you 33% towards next VR level (I'm getting 36,000 VP, roughly, per quest turn in at VR12). So in 3 days you'll get your next VR level, and to get to 14 you'll need 9 days total (for you).

I'm not saying what you're asking for is wrong, just making sure you know something exists to earn VP that doesn't require a team. All up for more content though, if they want to provide

Yep Cyrodiil dailies this is the only solo PvE content you can do until they release more next year.
They actually have announced 2 big pieces of solo pve content already.
    1. Justice system+Thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood quest lines and dailies.
    2. Wrothgar(Full New Zone)

Unfortunately, we'll only be getting that stuff starting next year.

Edit: I should point out that they are scraping the post 50 leveling system altogether and you will just get Champion points instead of VR levels so doing other activities that give you xp will get you plenty of Champion points.

That is my only real problem with the game right now. I'm about to hit vr11 soon and already thinking the next 3 "grouping levels"... Plz ZOS do something about it!

Just stick it out. I am a solo player, but I don't mind group content in craglorn. You just have to be patient. There is solo content in the pipeline, so sticking it out for that.

Yeah, scaling content to the number of players in the group would be the best option. I guess they can't scale overland mobs that way.

Believe it or not, there was new solo, repeatable quest content in the first 1.4 PTS patch. There were three quests to create crafted gear for someone in Craglorn. Unfortunately those quests were bugged so they removed them entirely instead of fixing them. One of the bugs was that the crafted gear was worth more to vendors than the quest reward so you would only do them for the XP/VP.

Agreed. I like to take my time when questing. But I did some group quests in Craglorn and everyone rushes like a maniac and I could not stop and read the dialogue and enjoy the quests like I can when solo. Which made it feel boring and not want to do the rest of the quests. There should be solo options of the quests as well. And no I don't do pvp.

This game is seriously lacking in varied content for a sub game. I got to V12 and all there is, is group quests. Other MMO's offer daily solo quests at max lvl. As well as a variety of zones to lvl in and not just 1 option.
The thought of doing more rushed group quests fills me with a feeling of despair, it's either that or more grinding in Craglorn to get to v14. Not happy anymore, so no point in paying for something Iam not happy with. Feel so bored with ESO now.

Quests could be great, but they are made too easy. All you have to do is follow markers. And perhaps most people prefer them to be easy, because they are mostly used for the wrong purpose of gaining xp, but it's the dev's fault. They force people to grind xp instead of focusing on the story.

I don't even bother questing anymore because its not "Play as you want". We no longer have the option to play solo. We have to play in a group or you can't play. PvP is almost the same way, its very difficult to find smaller groups to pvp against because most players are hell bent on zerging.
