We promote members based on them inviting players into the guild. We don't expect them to recruit or anything, we just ask that if they see someone looking for a guild, they throw them an invite.
We then use the history tab to see who is adding to the numbers and for those that show commitment we repay that by promoting them and allowing access to more stuff, bank etc.
It's been a great system. Simple yet effective.
Until today, when we lost the record of who was doing the inviting from the history tab. Though thanks for letting us keep a record of who is kicking the inactives (yeah, that was sarcastic).
I couldn't be more gutted to be honest. Between the awful stance my character has when she swaps to her second weapon - why??? - the follower tag being applied to my pet (OK, I can turn off all follower tags to remove the ONE I don't need, but I'm ashamed if you really think I don't know which pet is mine, or even if they are alive, Zen. Cheers for that) and the silly delete mail confirmation, your tampering with an ultra useful message in the guild tab is the last straw for tonight.
So please give me one less thing to gripe about and reinstate the invite messages in the guild history tab.
Thank you.
