Bug has appeared

Tried to make simple steel armor at the Ashen Grip foundry. The mats button to increase armor level no longer works, you have to guess what level is going to come out. Not that big a problem, just an irritating surprise really. Then I discovered that while the weapons still get the Ashen buff, the armor no longer does, even though the level label, that does not increment with the materials button, says you have built Ashen Grip armor. I wonder if the other foundries are just as bugged?

As far as I can tell it's a display bug. The only thing that updates the info about the piece you are about to craft is changing the type back and forth. So when you want to craft steel armor, switch the 'Type' slider to helm or some such, and back to armor.

That doesn't work for me and many others sadly. All of my UI's stay lvl1 regardless and I have to guess at what I am making. I guess I should be happy I can still craft as many can only craft lvl1 regardless of mat type or skill level.

Huh, my launcher, while it has the options menu, doesn't have a repair game button, just, megaserver, language, start on boot up, minimize to system tray, show public test Environment and maximum download.

Yes, there is no repair option, or check game files, or anything of the sort. I guess the only recourse is to wipe and download again and pray it's correct. Hope you got lots of bandwidth from your ISP.

Those are the Launcher Options. There is another little gear icon for Game Options above the News panel. Repair is in there.

I have the issue in that all my mats show as crafting level one armour(but actually create the right lvl armour) but can easily work around it as I know what mats correspond to which level.........

However I am interested to know whether you had this issue and fixed it by running a repair?

Don't repair or uninstall it's a legit bug and that will do nothing but make you spend a number of hours redownloading the game.

Hmmm, I an going to run repair as the verifying portion seems to be moving faster than the usual download, already at 9%, running 3 mins. I will report back if anything useful comes about, smee's comment does make me worry

Okay, running verify, which paused at 67% for quite a while, seems to have eliminated the lack of foundry attribution, or I was just being my usual idiot self and only thought I was paying attention, your choice. The increment to level hang is definitely game wide. I traveled Dominion throughout and all foundries are affected, also those of Auridon. So smee is correct, this isn't fixable by such as you and I.

Ran into this crafting some seducers for a noobly alt. I'm noobly all around, so I have no idea where the level breakpoints are. I was guessing, leaving the table, and then hopping back on and everything was in the right place and the descriptions were accurate, so no guessing (or adjust, leave table, and hop back on)

PITA, but I assume it will be fixed.

MMMB, you can also just change the item and then change back, the proper info will be displayed, no need to drop in and out of the crafting table.

We should not pay this month. We are now beta testers for the console release. Every single update, patch, sneeze, hiccup and fart creates bugs that should have been killed in the testing phase. This is getting old,
