Settings Overwritten

In no patch before have I had a reset of all my UI settings.

Why were these overwritten and returned to default? This would mean that there was something necessary for changing in that file that dictated this be reset. Yet nothing in the patch notes indicates why.

So I want to know why this was done ZOS. Either you're not disclosing all information in the patch notes or you're incapable of checking your patches. Which is it? If there's another reason, I'd love to hear it.

Now I have to waste my time setting things to what I'd developed since pre-release. On 8 different characters no less. (Why are UI settings character specific instead of account specific?)

The've acknowledged that they screwed up on this, and settings shouldn't have been reset.. and yeah setting should be able to be copied to from one character to another.

They didn't notice the first-person shaky cam sprint, so I'd say no, they don't seem to notice much about their own changes.

It's poor performance on ZOS part. I'm close to cancelling my sub, somewhat due to boredom now and the nerfs that keep on coming <nights silence> and skills still not working as they should, yes I'm a night blade.

PvE is boring now, trying to get into a group for quest in grind lorn is almost impossible, PvP is the 'only' thing I still enjoy and while I thought I was being clever removing my addons, I wasn't expecting to have my bindings reset and what the hell is going on with new player alerts I'm Vr12 for crying out loud.

So close to not renewing my sub.

On second thought, I'm taking a break from playing, if in 1 week I still want to log back in and play, I will.

Well if they use default keybinds when testing then no they wouldn't have noticed that. As for the shaky cam thing I dunno mines not doing it. They have to be able to recreate the bug before they can fix the bug. If they can't recreate it they can't fix it. It sucks but that's the way it goes.

Ok, now this is getting serious. I've turned off the stupid tutorial messages but I'm still getting them for combat (messages telling me what buttons to push, etc.). Anyone still getting combat tutorial messages with tutorial messages turned off?

Those aren't tutorial messages. Their combat cues or something like that. Look for another setting.

Too funny. I have my key binds & settings seriously modified and it took me all of 5 minutes to set it back the way I like it. I wonder how long it took for OP to type up the tantrum post.

ZOS did their job. When you write code you cant guess what will going wrong. I dont mind that ZOS reset settings if it make their job a little bit easier.
