My horse is better than Peasants!

I think that horses should be able to run people and things over. I suppose I'll start by explaining why I thought about this today for the first time since launch. I happened upon that game Destiny's trailer today for the 10th time and saw some dude run people over on a hoverbike and thought... hey why doesn't my horse run people over in ESO? I mean, it would rock if I could knock mobs down at least or something. It also grinds my gears when I am running along and some minuscule rock or something stops me dead in my tracks. It's even worse when some other dumb npc in the town forces me to stop on a bridge. I should be able to bowl those fools over for being in my way! I feel like this would contribute greatly to my "immersion." hee-hee.

Horses in Age of Conan could actually kick people. There was a whole YouTube video at one point of horses kicking people off ledges and cliffs. It was awesome!

I love this. We need starving waifs added if this is implemented. Nothing makes you feel more chilvaric and noble than running over a starving peasant child.

I remember that! Horses could kick, tigers could attack people, mammoths could attack or trample. That was a good time.

I agree--or at least the npc's should run out of the way, like pigeons in some games.

And I really hate the whole "every pebble in the road stops you". What makes it worse is the stupid horse won't do a standing jump--you have to back up and then run to get over what stopped you. I'm used to LOTRO horses where, if you do get stopped by say a fence, you can just push forward and jump together and you do a perfect, graceful leap over it.

Awww! It's been a couple years at least now since I played AoC and I see that as just one more reason to never go back. That game still breaks my heart. It had soooo much potential and that idiot Craig just made it completely craptastic.

dear god yes. Maybe a huge exp bump, or like random skill increases.

There's so many ways this could go well.

All those beggars in daggerfall, my horse could wipe out poverty in one good run.

For the animation, they could all position at the roadside, where a gutter would be, and in different crumpled states, maybe some with lil hoofmarks on them, and others with Xs for eyes, and others kinda curled up so you could ride by and say, "Oh, lookie, he looks just like he's sleeping." I would say that.

I would imagine them having small little peasant dreams, after my horse crushed their bones beneath its hooves.
