I Really Wish they stopped using the 2 second rule for regen.

Anyone else hate the 2 second rule for magicka, stamina and health regen? The best thing Blizzard did was to remove their 5 second rule and added two specific rules for out and in combat regen.

For anyone else that doesn't know what I'm talking about you can read about it here: http://www.wowwiki.com/Mana_regeneration

The reason I want to see the 2 second rule in ESO to get replaced is to get the combat more fluid and fast paced. Right now, it feels really slow with only one set of rule for regeneration.

What do you guys think? Would you like to have regeneration in realtime ?

half the regin every second would make a lot more sense to me. Or even update every 1/2 second or in real time. There are a ton other things screwed up with eso, so thats low on my list tho.

I didn't even know that, I always thought it must be every 1 second since it says nowhere how long it takes.

F.e. enchantments like on weapons when it says "Deals 10 Magic Damage and restores 5 Health" or something, I never knew how this works, like WHEN does it restore this amount of health, per hit, per second, once during a heavy attack, or just per looking at the enemy?? (of course not the last one, but, you know). Same with jewelry, how is the normal average player supposed to know that? Well, I didn't.

This could simply be clarified to all players by adding that information right after the enchantment.

And I also didn't know that about the base regen either.

    1. It says so in the Character sheet (C) if you hover your mouse over magicka, stamina or health regen figures. It says "When in combat, you regenerate value|type every 2 seconds".

    2. There is a base proc chance (I believe) for each light and heavy attacks on weapon enchantments.

    3. Yes I would like more feedback from the game myself,. Most of the time we are left guessing what is really happening behind the scene.
