This is a problem that needs to be looked into because it has happened more than once. We were fighting the AD at BRK, I went to place a camp up and we had reached camp limit and the reason was we had camps all through enemy territory, nowhere near enemy keeps, just placed randomly.

KEEP THE CAP........make the newest tent placement override the oldest. You can now always place a tent when and where you need to.
Yes it happens on both. Last night on Thornblade EU, DC were just 1 keep from taking Emperor. Something we don't do very often as EP usually dominate the campaign. When our camp at Alessia fell, somebody placed a camp in the middle of nowhere so that the camps radius meant we could not reinforce Alessia and thus lost the attack.
That wasn't the end of it though, The EP Spy (as DC were calling him) then went to every keep we owned and started placing camps in between them, so that the camps were quite useless but also meant we could not defend our keeps once dead and we quickly lost many of our keeps. Such a shame that they felt the need to cheat on a campaign they are already winning.
Yes but then some players would be harassed for their placement of a legitimate camp that is affecting another groups need to place a camp. I like the idea but there has to be a better way and I have to think Zos can easily run some reports and figure out what players are dropping these and investigate it without us knowing - I'd like to think they are already doing this but we never know as they are dead silent right now other than they are aware it is an issue.Fillem_Fulla wrote: »If camps actually had the name of player who placed the camp on the map. Regardless of my skewed opinion it is a MAJOR issue Zos needs to address immediately as it is compromising the integrity of the PvP experience. At this point Zos should just disable the use of Forward Camps until they have figured out how they can be used appropriately and fairly in Cyro. This would end Troll Camping and get rid of the vile suicide resource alliances try to maintain.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the only freedom a player would lose is the ability to play six of the races. This could be remedied through achievements though. Cadwell's Silver would unlock the ability to play an additional 3 races, and Cadwell's Gold would unlock the final 3, the races unlocked being respective to whichever area those achievements were tied to for you.
The effect of this would be removing a perk from the more expensive edition of ESO. My counter to this is that A.) There are already other perks to keep sales going and B.) Being able to play any race in any alliance from the start without going through the Cadwell's achievements is still a pretty big perk.
This way, you would be locked into an alliance but still be able to play any of the 9 races in the alliance you chose to lock your account into.
