Oats and Tomatoes

I have two of my characters maxed out at 50 in provisioning with the Hireling set to 3, max. I have received 2 tomatoes and 2 oats in over 30 days. With these drop rates coupled with the fact that neither of these ingredients are found in the world I wonder why there are recipes in-game that uses them.
It seems self-defeating to me that some of the consummate recipes are literally useless, because of the absolute rarity of the drops for key ingredients.
Any way we could get a better drop rate implemented?

drallar✭✭✭Random is random I suspect. I have received 6 tomato and 2 oats in the last 3 days.
The upcoming Provisioning changes will hopefully address things like this.0 -
