Holes in the world quest - Cold Harbour

I'm level 45 as is the quest and apparently this is not solo friendly. Trying to kill Rarayn alone and this guy is a beast, I do almost no damage to him while he kills me in a few blows. ...So he's a boss ..that needs a team.

Any tips on soloing him? There is no one in coldharbour and I am not waiting around for others.

I had to look this up (I am currently in Coldharbour but haven't done it yet) - yeah it's a quest in the Coldharbour public dungeon, and as such is not necessarily designed for solo play, public dungeons are generally harder content with larger groups of mobs and harder bosses than the rest.

Much like other public dungeons, you are best off getting a group together, or running through at a time when there are other people in there (or soloing it when you are overlevelled). But no, although I suspect it can be done with certain builds, like the other public dungeons in the game it's probably not designed to be balanced for soloing.

ah ok a public dungeon did not know that as the quests I picked up made no mention of such ...up to this point all public dungeons were solo friendly.

oh well i'll skip it.
