I had an idea on my last dungeon run: Why not put Merchants at the entrance of all the dungeons? Invent some story for each one why they're there, and they won't feel out of place.
Why:
- People constantly need to repair their gear before they enter a dungeon and while they're in the dungeon. Having to go outside just annoys the team members because everybody has to wait.
- Some people gather so much stuff inside a dungeon that their inventory fills up. Wouldn't it be great to sell it off right there to get some space?
This is not a game changing mechanic (in terms of: you should be able to do that dungeon without repairs, yada yada) because this allows players nothing new. It allows them exactly what they can do at the moment, just more conveniently, and thus reducing wait times for other players.
