Eso Gameplay styles

I find that plenty of people play games completely differently and that is not a bad thing but if the game does not cater to you. You tend to be disappointed. There many game playing styles out there but there are two styles I see a lot of.

One style is the Immersive-gamer this is my type of style. I like to play thourgh the game listen Npcs and play through the quest. I enjoy traveling around new quest areas looking for resources to craft new armor. I love hitting the next level after just finishing an interesting quest. I also love crafting and figuring out different combos for my characters. I like to take my time playing the game I am not in a hurry to level up.

The style I see more often is the power-gamer. They like to grind to get to the highest level as possible and try to get the best gear by either finding it , making it, or buying it. They like to get the best build at the time so they can kill things fasts. They like to move through the game fast so they can get the legendary gear and have the most optimal stats. They strive to get to the endgame for a challenge.

Some of these characteristics may suit or not but I am curious on how people play elder scrolls online. What are your gameplay styles?

I take my time but I also have limited time to play. I enjoy the story and the environments so I'm in no rush to get to max level.
PUG Life - the true test of your skill

18 characters, 17 max level, at least 1 Stam and 1 Mag of every class, 1 of every race and 1200+ CP

Tanked to Undaunted 9+ Mag and Stam of every class using Group Finder for 90+% of the Vet Dungeon runs

I start out as option 1, and then once I understand the game more and want a tougher challenge move on to option 2.

'Enjoy the journey, not just the destination' is my motto. So yeah, I play slowly and have fun dying in new and interesting ways.

I play TESO in much the same way as I do the SP ES games, in that I play to have fun and a laugh.

See that naked Breton wildly waving his sword slaughtering enemies as he streaks through the dungeon in nothing but his undies? yeah, that's me!
Or that naked Nord running dolmens? yep, me as well!

I do like to be immersive though, in as much as I always like to listen to dialogue and take my time fully exploring an area. I'm in no hurry to reach max level and don't give a skeever's backside about being the best, or having the best gear.
"I'm going to live forever..or at least die trying"

drunken Nord & Tamriel streaker since Arena

I am a mixture of both styles: I do grind and craft the best game, but on the other paw, I go back and do the quest, listen to the NPC dialog and take my time.

Part of me is very much a "power gamer" and the other part is very much play "Immersive" For example, I grind my way to VR12, but finish the Rift zone very slowly (level 40 zone) Hard to say what type of gamer I am, since I fit well in both camps.

Slow and Steady. I will get there when I get there. And enjoy myself along the way.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

PakKat "Everything was going well, until I died"
Gary Gravestink "I am glad you died, I needed the help"
