Just wandering around ESO been playing since beta and I've watched this game turn so much. Did a video for about 30mins and literally every class I just walked around is either a sword and board or staff. Just incredible ESO. How's that all for your balance and being able to play any style you want with any class and be competitive.

I believe their mantra was "Play the way you want" not " Play the way you want be the most overpowered person all the time" You can play however you want doesn't mean your going to have the optimal build every time. I can play naked with my fists should that be an optimal build also?

how embarrassing would it be to be killed by someone using fisticuffs. I would love to see that. You can use class abilities, but the finishing blow has to be a punch to the face.

Why do people complain so hard about this stuff? There are always going to be techniques/builds/etc that are better than others. Yes staffs are way better, but you don't absolutely have to use them yourself to win.

it was a typo in the mantra, the quote was "play the way we want"

You're video link is where? And I've seen a mix of every class and about every combo.?

Some are bound to be more prevalent than others. Kinda hard to be a DK healer without a staff. Kinda hard to be a tank with a staff...?

The OP didn't walk around much because the highest DPS weapon in Cyrodiil right now is a bow. It can do more damage than some ultimate skills.

There are actually quite a few with bows but they are all in stealth. For the most part you are not wrong though. You basically see three tactics in PvP. Shield + Hold block + spam instant attacks. Destro staff impulse zergs. Snipe out of stealth from range and attack cancel.
