Does ZOS care about our Polls?

Do they even read them, or note the results? Are we just doing noting but placating ourselves here?

exactly haha, these polls are just a small small number of the actually people that play the game. definitely not a way of making decisions for the game.

I find most polls tend to favor Zenimax' decisions, or are divided almost evenly, so EVEN if they've been paying attention, there aren't any polls I've seen that decisively showed the playerbase wants a change.

Edit: Polls aren't reliable, we only have a small sample of the player population.

Other than swearing or calling out other players, ZOS does not seem to care much at all about what is posted in these forums. They certainly seem to have no interest in unsolicited player opinions or feedback.

Yep, can't stand the hidden/private polls. I like to see what people have put and I'm happy to be open about my replies/thoughts

I distinctly remember being told that if I made a stupid poll, a ZOS rep would personally punch a baby and takes its doll away.

Polls are self selected participation and the options are always worded like: Which do you prefer, cake or death? They are of limited value for feedback, if they have any at all. But it is amusing whenever the forums decide to pick the "death" option.

How could you pick death over cake?! I mean, cake is made with sugar and it has icing (more sugar) and it comes in the red velvet variety, or carrot, or apple, or spice, or chocolate...

Death just comes in nothingness flavor. Bleh.

I am sure they read the polls, but they make no decisions based on them. The polls are for our entertainment, not for making decisions.

ZOS is only interested in data. For every poll you throw up, ZOS has over one million definitive data points supporting or rebutting the poll's thesis. They know. We think we know.

This is probably the second dumbest poll I've seen. I don't care whether ZOS cares about my poll votes, my toothpaste, my hygiene, my preference of snack foods; in fact I don't have an emotional relationship with ZOS at all and I don't expect them to have one with me. When I'm tired of the game I'll quit paying for it. That's my relationship with ZOS.
