This thread is from August. It warms my heart to see how much time and effort ZOS has put into the barber shop since then.MornaBaine wrote: »ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »
So something that has been begged for since launch and is pretty much a standard feature of most other games is STILL not even on the drawing board? C'mon, really???? You've got artists at work making costumes for purchase in the crown shop but no one is working on new hairstyles? No new makeup or tattoos? No one has figured out this sort of thing is a HUGELY popular cash shop item? The mind boggles.

Ah, bad me for not noticing the date. I still need coffee. LOL So OK ZOS folk....is there a NEW answer to this question yet?????
I see nothing wrong with being able to change hair colour and style but, otherwise, take proper care with character creation.I hope not. Char creation is important, playing musical chairs with char looks is a bad idea. With to many people starting changing chars looks, it will become very hard to tell who is who or change char's names.
That's the stupidest comment I've seen all day; Character creation is very important I agree but people often make mistakes and would like to change some things here and there. Sometimes people also make alt's who they think came out better and want to go back to another character and do the same.
Especially in this game where lighting is different in character creation and the voice examples are poor. Sometimes giving you a different look than intended and a voice with horrible sounding light and heavy attack swings.

But I would like to know if ZOS intends to make it so we can change things like our character's hair styles, colours, ect at SOME POINT in the future. I think this is something a lot of players would want.
Has anyone heard anything?

Pretty much everyone I run into fits one of 4-5 cookie cutter look molds. There is almost no chance of me being able to distinguish anyone by their looks; the exceptions are people who made their character look absolutely ridiculous... or have a "power doughnut", because almost no one runs that.
Considering you can change armour style, put a helmet on and off, and wear disguises that make you grow a beard, I really don't understand your point.I hope not.
