    It's not intentional, but it is likely to be an issue with your system/setup. This is not something I've seen nor has any of my own guild complained about.

    Make sure you're running the latest video drivers for your card on your system. Make sure you reboot regularly and you're not letting it run over hot.

    If that fails, make a post on the technical support forum with your full system specs.

    Yeah, that's not clipping.
    That's some manner of display error. Check to make sure your video drivers and such are all up to date and make sure your comp/graphic card isn't overheating. Those are the two most common causes of display errors in my experience.
