For well over a month, through multiple updates and even a content patch or two, I've occasionally had animations that would just now show. Tonight, my Healing Springs played no sound and had no animation. This persisted through game resets. I also haven't seen a Dawnbreaker animation in weeks.

Is this issue ever going to be fixed? What about the other problems that have been there since release? My cursor sometimes bugs out to where it fails to revert to a crosshair about 80% of the time when it should. This has been happening since beta. The fact that some of these problems have been around so long is frankly embarrassing. Now I don't want to blame the QC team since it is the publishers that rush these things out the door, but holy crap guys, it's been 4 months now? Every single update breaks half the game for half the players and it seems like the goal is to release more and more niche content instead of fixing the glaring issues that already exist. It's BS like this that is eating away at otherwise loyal players.

But you know, I get it. I get that there are challenges in fixing some bugs. There's a lot of code to sort out. There's a lot of moving parts. But at what point does it become unreasonable to expect patience from loyal subscribers?

Every single time I log in and experience something like this, that is one more thing to add to the "reasons I'm not enjoying this" pile. Everyone has a breaking point. I'm not sure where mine is, but I lose a shred of enjoyment every time I spend hours battling without animations and fighting my cursor to get it to switch back correctly only for the session to end abruptly with an untimely crash to desktop.

You might have to submit it to them directly. I have not had any of those problems so it could be your side. Or something in your computer that they are still trying to optimize for. There's 1000's of reasons it could be happening. Submitting this in the bug report and direct contact would be a better bet. Hope the best for you.

Depends. Usually the first month is the worst. then it gets better and better usually 90% stable after a year but will never hit 100% no matter how long its out.

To be fair i think those rendering issues are related to effects being wrongly prioritised and hence not rendered in the same frame as some less important effect.

I don't know about your rig but on mine it happens quite often and it's because i use a pretty weak graphics card intel HD 4600 that can't render things fast enough so i often lose animations like healing springs and impulse.

This probably will fixed soon when we can choose what effects to render.

Anyway i thought you meant bugs as in "reflective scale costing resources on reflect" kinda bug.

Well, I've experienced these bugs on lots of rigs. My primary one is an i7-4770k @ 4.6 GHz with a GTX 770. Secondary is an i3-4340 with a GTX 760. Third is a friend's with an FX-8350 and GTX 660. I've also played on a couple of other configurations, including an i7-2600k with an HD 7870, an Intel E8600 with a GTX 550 Ti, E8600 with an HD 7870, and an FX-4100 with an R7 250. My friend has had the issue with missing animations on his Intel CPU / AMD GPU laptop.

All of these systems were running 64-bit Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 with the latest drivers of the time. That's a pretty wide variance of configurations, including five separate CPU architectures, five separate GPU architectures, and six different motherboards. I've experienced the cursor bug on every last one of them, but the graphical issues are more recent. I've seen that particular problem on the FX-4100 / R7 250 build as well, so it isn't limited to my primary configuration. These bugs occur with or without addons installed.

In regards to the animation prioritization, this is happening when I'm at 65 FPS out in the wild or when I'm in a large battle. There's no difference. It persists for hours on end without every working correctly even once. Dawnbreaker in particular has been a problem. Pretty much once a day in PVP, I find an entire action bar will not show animations of me casting, play sounds, or play spell animations after the fact. This full lockout fortunately often corrects itself after a death.

I suppose I'll try reinstalling sometime this week.

I'd be happy if they'd just fix the data load error at this stage.

That's another one I have. Mostly on my i3 build.
