Hello there i would like to ask if anyone knows if ransack 1rst skill of the one handed skill line stacks with burning breath from Arden flame skill line. To explain myself better i wonder if the armor reduction stacks. ransack reduces enemy armor by 43% and burning breath by 40%. do they stack and that means that they reduce enemy armor by 83%?!?!??

I do believe they stack, but its not additive, its multiplicative. Also note, mobs in pve do not have alot of armour so stacking it wouldnt help alot. In pvp, most people are cloths so it doesnt matter too much either.

can you please explain the multiplicative? Maybe it means that i cast ransack so they go -43% and then when i cast burning breath from their remaining armor they will go another -40%?

Yes it can stack, but the Auto BB doesn't happen that often.

The best way to demonstrate the multiplicative vs additive is with an example.

Assume the opponent's armour value is 1000 (nice round numbers make this easy).

If the debuffs stack in an additive way then the armour is reduced by 83%, so it goes from 1000 to 170 (83% of 1000 is 830, and 1000 minus 830 is 170).

If the debuffs stack in a multiplicative way then the armour is first reduced by 43%, then reduced by a further 40%, so it goes from 1000 to 342 (43% of 1000 is 430, 1000 minus 430 is 570, 40% of 570 is 228, and 570 minus 228 is 342).

Thanks for the responses guys. as i see it either way this combo it very strong specially for pvp and for a tank witch i play and dont have lot of dmg. also what does BB means?

it means the armour reduction is 1 -(1 - 0.43)(1 - 0.4) = 66%

Armor does not matter in PvP.

would mean something if armor actualy meant something significant in re guards to damage mitigation. 20% reduction vs a 83 % the amount of damage mitigated would be so minimal you would be pissed.

The mitigation cap is 50%. While armor reduction is multiplicative armor penetration is additive. You can couple the two so that the opponent is actually at 0% physical mitigation. So reduce their armor, then penetrate through the remaining % mitigation.

So lets say your armor reduction lowers your target to 6% physical mitigation. If you have 6% penetration then they have 0% mitigation.
