Sheogorath has no eyes

Some NPCs have one or both white eyes. Sheogorath has no eyes whatsoever. His eyes aren't white, they simply aren't there, just white pixels. Any reason behind it?

    I have this same issue.
I suppose the texture isn't loading or something like that.
Never bothered me much, though... I like to think he's possessed by himself.

That isnt how it is supposed to be?

Being what he is I'd thought it a normal part of his madness.

He had these eyes in Oblivion (which I quite like):

    20111102235558!Sheogorath.jpg

But he had these eyes in Skyrim (which is the version they based this one off):

    Sheogorath_skyrim.jpg

So the image in the OP looks fine to me...

I'm pretty sure he can have anyone's eyes he wants. For dinner, if he likes.

he also had the "cats eyes" in the Morrowind expansion "The Shivering Isles" and they looked much better, but then he is the prince of Madness so i guess he can have whatever form/eyes he deems fit at the time.

The Oblivion Sheogorath isn't the Skyrim Sheogorath.
The Sheogorath in Skyrim is actually the hero of Kvatch; the player from Oblivion; Shivering Isles.

That being said though, the ESO Sheogorath should be the same as the one in Oblivion, so I have no basis for why the eyes have changed..

They're gods at the end of the day, they can change their entire appearance, eyes included.

Well he had eyes before. I found a screenshot from Simply Misplaced dated 26th June, where he has eyes. On 8th August I was doing Circus of Cheerful Slaughter and he had no eyes. Perhaps his protest against dyes?

I could have phrased that better. By should, I mean that I think it's the same Sheogorath as the one in Oblivion.

I figured it was something like that. But Oblivion Sheogorath doesn't look like Morrowind Sheogorath or Daggerfall Sheogorath. He changes as he pleases, and there isn't a reason that the Fourth Era Sheogorath wouldn't wear something that "he" wore about 1000 years earlier. Especially while he was getting used to the job.

Sorry, you misunderstand what I was saying. I was pointing out that Oblivion and Morrowind Sheogorath are different entities to the Skyrim Sheogorath. There's no reason why they should or shouldn't look the same. I was simply making an observation, as though if might have something to do with the eye change, but that isn't the case.

Actually now that you mention it...
However, Jyggalag is allowed to return to his original form once after every era, an event known in the Shivering Isles as the Greymarch. During this period, Jyggalag's personality resurfaces and exerts control over "his" realm to summon the Knights of Order - his emotionless, vicious minions - to attack and burn everything in the Isles to the ground. Near the end of the Greymarch, Sheogorath "leaves" the Isles and Jyggalag appears in person to finish the Isles off. In reality, Sheogorath simply transforms into Jyggalag. Sheogorath then "returns" to recreate the Isles and its inhabitants, causing him some suffering.
