Last year I missed participating in the Extra Life event. I didn't have an MMO that I was playing which participated. I was testing ESO. It was November when it dawned on me that I hadn't been involved that year. I'd like to not miss this year.
I participated for several years in a row in Rift, which was where I found out about it. The game company participated with the players, held contests & competitions, held events and had small titles/pets/costumes you could obtain if you won certain contests/competitions or reached your Extra Life goal, etc.
All in all, every time I participated it was a fun time. It brought the community together. I met a lot of fun people and had fun goofing around with the developers. So... what would it take, @ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_JessicaFolsom, to get Zenimax to host something and sponsor participation in the event this year (and years forthcoming)?
It could even be a way to drum up the occasional PTS campaign... if you held the Extra Life events on that server. Which could both test your new content AND encourage folk to participate in this charity event.

Yeah it sounds nice, especially the PTS one, but I am afraid people would into be testing that much if we had events. Still, even if they do regular stuff, they might bump into something and report it.
