This subject has been around a bit, but the mechanics of the quest are tedious, and extremely frustrating if unaware of exactly how to finish it.
The object of the quest giver is for you to infect enemies in the area with spawns out of corpses.
The problem is that the proximity of the mob you are fighting to the corpse you just killed. For this quest to work for me the mob I was fighting had to be literally standing on the corpse of the mob I just killed.
After getting into this configuration:
Attacking mob standing on corpse of freshly killed mob.
I had to mouse over the corpse until I got the “Place seed….” Option then hit E and my character went into a script of bending down and planting the seed.
During all this time the attacking mob is wailing on me.
After the scrip a something, not sure what it is, comes up out of the corpse.
Now, if you’re still alive, kill the mob that has been railing on you.
Repeat this 6 times and this hideously nasty tedious quest is over! YEA!!
