Massive Lag

I just logged on the NA server and experienced huuuuge input lags in- and outside of cyrodiil. everything is delayed by 2 or more seconds or doesn't work at all. Attacks, skills, sneaking, sprinting, mounting. everything has massive delays. it seems like the server isn't responding to the client requests.

Did anyone else notice this?

another thing i noticed is that when you do certain things like attacking or using a skill, they wont fire, but if you press esc or switch to cursor mode, everything you pressed before fires at once.

People were experiencing quite a bit of lag on the EU server too.

I've noticed some and been in PvE areas today (mid vet lvls). It's been pretty random from zone to zone for me. When it occurs I almost always get weapon lock from things like volcanic rune. Usually firing it again unlocks it.

Also i am having lag issue on evening time at EU server.

Every month i pay 45 Turkish Lira and i cant get any fun of this game.So Why do i play ESO ?.

After like 2 hours the lag was finally gone yesterday. Today... well, the lag is back and it's huuuuge. @ZOS_JessicaFolsom‌ or any other team member, can you please give informations about what's causing this? The game is unplayable this way. I can't even pick up a flower without lag and delayed animations.

Ok, i just had several 20 second delays. This is ridiculous. ZENIMAX get at me.

No lag here. Possible that it's routing? (touch wood) Haven't had one of those nasty lag spikes in well over a week. Oh, in EU

I have no idea what it is. it suddenly appeared yesterday. Nobody else seems to have this kind of lag.

Might want to look into your routing then if others aren't encountering same. We had one hell of a problem for about 3 days when a main "hub" melted down or something about a month ago. It was literally unplayable. You have my sympathies, it's so, soooo frustrating.

It's weird cause i was playing for 2 hours yesterday, then i took a break to eat and when i came back it was unplayable

That's what you get for daring to indulge in anything having to do with "Real Life".

Check your route or holler at your ISP and see if they have any info. When the server first got moved to the EU, I remember we all were lagging like lunatics but that seems to be cleared up. Occasional spikes are still happening but nothing at all like it was those first 3 or 4 days.

Well, the router is acting up lately, but i have no idea what to do about it. I'm on the NA Server but connecting from europe, maybe there's some problem.

Heh, thousands of miles and a lot of water?

I used to use PingPlotter a lot (freebie version) to trace routes and see where packets were being lost so I could know whether to rant at the gaming company or my ISP or just curse the 'Net gods. Might give that a try or call your ISP?

Have the same problem since yesterday. Every other application/game/website has no problem whatsoever. The lag is so bad, i can't even loot 2 crates in a row without waiting half a minute. (on NA server, from EU)

Well, that sounds exactly like my problem here.

Hexe, is there a way to ping the NA Server directly?

It is working pretty much lag free at the moment. let's hope it stays this way.

I have had 0 Lag. But I did have some problems the other day where nothing would work. I couldn't move or anything. Updated my addons and haven't had any problems since.

And again, the lag is so bad i can't even open a door. i just walked through mobs and jumped down a cliff and like a minute later i took the damage and died. This is ridiculous. I can't play!

Now i couldn't even log in or got errors when logging in. what is wrong?

After last night in PvP (NA) I know it's not just me. We had rollbacks with gobs of people being booted (for me to character screen) and then everyone piled around the transitus shrine again.

On the bright side I received a new kind of weapon lock while in PvE where my NB performs his bow imitation with DW daggers. I assume this is a new feature.

I'm trapped in a house and can't get out or use anything. nothing is responding. i'm really pissed right now

Have you tried to port to someone in one of your guilds or use /stuck?

If you are stuck in your own house...I would recommend unlocking the front door and simply walking outside for a few min.

I've had rollbacks in pvp every so often (the whole campaign gets it when I do) but no real lag for awhile now.

The game has been playing fairly well. I had a crash in cyrodiil a few days ago, and some before the last patch. They are few and far between though.

I wish I had better fps, but I think that's on my end. Lowest it gets is in the 20s though and I don't notice any real problems from it.

I submitted at least 2 /bugs on this, after 1.3.3 update and after 1.3.5 patch. I'll assume it's a known issue, but definitely /bug it. It's even worse with Camo Hunter skill activated (the display of the error is).
