Every time I join a raid-sized group my FPS goes to between 1-5 and the game basically freezes for a few seconds. Might be related to your problem OP.

Might be related to the UI-framework mod I use too...

The addon ZrMiniMap caused a problem like what you're describing. Try x'ing out of your addons and see if that fixes it, if you don't have any addons then no idea whats going on.

ZoS....we love community add ons...and fully support programmers who come up with helpful add ons for all players....However we will be rolling out updates and hot fixes 2x a week that will make your add ons crash and disrupt player experiences...This way when our crappy programming comes under fire we can blame the add ons that worked last week...continue to play how you want to play...has long has it is the way we tell you you have to play!!!!
Look for our road ahead when we will announce our December 2013 updates.
