Character Selection Screen [Suggestion]

I would love to be able to rearrange my characters at the character selection screen.

I, like many others, would like to sort my characters in order of beastly-ness and/or sexy-ness.

I agree I would like to see this implemented. My character screen looks funky... Ive got my main, 4 bank alts, then my two secondary characters.

I would like to be able to rearrange them so I can have my other real characters at the top.

I would like to reorder my characters too. At least so I can put the active ones at the top of the list and my mules at the bottom. Of course my Mules could go away if a certain something was changed.....

Sure, why not, as long as it doesn't require a lot of work

I'd like to arrange my characters by progression, instead of name, so I can always have my main char at the top.

I would love to have this option. I made a main then two mule characters. Then I made another character which is now my new main. I would love to have him at the top.

I agree.

Being able to put them into an order of our choice would be best. But if that's not possible I'd like to see a few options such as:

Alphabetical
Order of creation (the one we have now)
Most played on top
Least played on top
Most recently played on top

Given that my max level toons are #1, #6, and #8 and I am now leveling #3, yea, they are a freaking mess and there is nothing I can do about it. PITA why I cannot drag and drop to rearrange them is beyond me.

Looks like I'm bumping am old suggestion here, but has there been any word on this, at all?

It's a minor fix and would make such a difference to serious players whom value being able to organise their characters.

I'd prefer D&D over filtered lists, though. That way everybody can organise to their own preferences.

This is mostly for convenience and of course should take no precedent over actual game fixes and such.

Don't want to create a new thread specifically for this, but i'll just bump this one up (Yes OMG someone who uses the 'search' function before posting new threads!).

These are really needed features now on the main selection screen

1. Ability to Reorder Characters - Click on Char and use + and - keys to change position in List

2. Ability to Add Footnotes or Custom Alias text to the bottom of each Character - Just one or two lines of notation space to identify character purpose (For Example "Prov Mats Storage", "Master Crafter" or even "PvP Chillrend")

Oh and make the Play Button a little more McBain and a little less Hans Moleman.

I would really like this feature! My main character is number 3 on my list, but I would like her at the top - it just makes more sense to have your most active characters at the top. It's nice and convenient.

And also, I've always thought (from day 1) that the background for each character should change depending on where they are in the world. For example, the background for EP is snowy, even when they are in the tropical/warm/swampy areas like Shadowfen - or when they reach the deserts of Alik'r... or Coldharbour, for that matter.
