They said that we'll learn more about the program in the next week so it isn't going to hurt to wait a bit, rather than speculating.
I'd expect that they're more concerned about the account being active than whether or not it's active because of a credit card or game card.
Question to ZOS officials - do game time cards count for Loyalty Program, or is it just subscription?
Players would like to know.

If you don't have gaps then you shouldn't run into problems. However, if you are unsubbed for a few hours or days while getting a new card then it wont count. That's at least how other MMOs do it.

This would be one of the dumbest things they could do to reset the timer with the gap if it's only a few days due to the wonderful debacle with time cards not being available at launch despite being able to order them from third party retailers who were stuck waiting for zenimax to get the cards to them.
There's a reason why they gave free time to people that were stuck waiting for these games and cards to be shipped. It would be paramount to political suicide for them to make such a bad decision after what went down.

It's the wording - they say "subscribers" and when you use a game time card you're not "subscribed".
Better to have the ambiguity cleared up now.

I think I'll come around half a year later and see if changes will be implemented by then...
I hope you're joking. You can be committed by repeatedly buying "non-recurring" game-time cards just like you can be committed by having a recurring payment. I've had an active account since March 30th, and have 77 days left of game-time from my cards. How is that not commitment?purple-magicb16_ESO wrote: »No since there is no committment implied.
