What is your game performance experience

There seems to have been an increase in the number and frequency of performance related threads in the last few weeks. I have had a few myself which only manifested recently. So the purpose of the poll is to put some measure around what the general experience is.
For clarity I am specifically interested in PVE, not PVP is a whole other kettle of squirrels.

None of those options apply. I run a good computer (i7 2600k oc) and a gtx780sc and find recent patches make fps much less than I expect I should get (only in the cities though - seeing it go down to 30fps-35fps-45fps, in dungeons it's the same 100fps as usual). In Cyrodiil of course fps can drop to as low as 25fps.

And no I cannot "live with it" - I want it fixed.

Just want to add the fps lowering has only happened since recent patches. Game is getting worse and worse in terms of performance.

No real problems with performance as I too run a new computer not a ZX81...

...I would say the lag spikes have been more common and last longer since the migration to Germany thou.

    Good - Never had issues.
The poll is pretty skewed. The only really positive is "Good never had issues" That it's self requires me to lie to avoid the other worse choices.

Sure once in a while there are problems but it's certainly rare enough to be normal for computer programs. Never ever had issues, is gonna be vanishingly rare.

    Average machine, average performance.
FPS is much better in Cyrodil since update 3, but have had a few crashes over the weekend while Raiding keeps.

    Good - Never had issues.
Was playable but not at full potential before true full screen was added. 40 or so FPS was unacceptable with my hardware. Then again, the population has also spread out since then, so not everyone is in one city. Ever since, no problems. Wish I could say the same for my friends, who have had to go weeks at a time without playing because problems pop up every patch.

Options really aren't adaquate. My experience is currently managable in solo play, but laggy when around others. Tech Support says I should not have this problem, but they can't fix it. Currently trying to Port Forward as a fix. Do others need to use Port Forwarding to get adaquate performance?

All was good but recently I have been having problems
Only issue I've had recently is my fps seems kinda crappy all around. 3570K @4.2 with a 7870 and 8GB of appropriately clocked RAM. Only within the last couple patches, before I'd generally always hover upper 50's unless something crazy was happening.

Terrible since the patch and the "fixes" didn't fix anything.

I am shocked at how many people don't have any problems! I am wondering though: Are the people not having issues mostly open world PvE players? I only ask because I have all my issues in PvP and Vet Dungeons.

I am PvE exclusively. One thing I have often wondered about is whether those experiencing a lot of problems are victims of their own impatience or heightened expectations. I don't deny that the problems however severe are real but I have noticed that the loudest complaints are from those who are speeding through content and expecting a super-real experience. Computers can be temperamental when give too many commands too close together.

I played plain vanilla Skyrim on an Xbox 360. The forums were full of complaints about all sorts of things. Game-breaking this and that which were not repeatable and rare events all from the same sorts of people complaining here. I never saw those and the problems I did have were either not worth worrying about or were fixed in patches. The only thing that ever happened in 5 major characters and many hundreds of hours over two and a half years worth getting my panties in a knot was my own fault.

With the exception of a few crashes and some bugs with bow combat, the game usually runs at 60+ FPS because I have an awesome rig.

Perhaps you didn't notice (you were probably too busy ruling the ELoE with an iron hoof), but the question for the poll is specifically for PVE. I suspect you'd see a lot fewer people choosing "no issues" if the OP hadn't specified that he was interested in whether people were experiencing performance issues in PVE, as opposed to PVP.

Those aspects, processor and video card, are important but my question is how much RAM do you have? I recently upgraded my computer and went from 8 GB of RAM to 32 GB of RAM, and my problems basically went away at that point. It also helped that I bought an SSD hard drive and copied over ESO to it. It was surprising how much I was missing out on by having to run my computer on low settings versus high settings. (I can do ultra but I don't want to overtax the machine) Occasionally there's a brief hiccup, but I've stayed at 58-62 fps both in PVE and PVP.

For me i'd have to say Yup.
I don't PvP normally and only venture into those areas when I want to collect the resources in there.
It can get crazy busy at some Dark Anchors thou and I still don't get any lag. (apart from the now normal Euro lag spikes)

People not having problems are most certainly not doing PvP. There is no escaping the server lag and crashes in Cyrodiil.
