What is your favorite class to play? I don't mean which you find the most powerful, etc... but which do you ENJOY playing the most!

I'll start off by saying, I enjoy Nightblade and Sorcerer the most. Lately I've been playing more on my Templar & Dragonknight to level them up completely. However, it's so hard for them to die even when trying! I really enjoy the versatility in Nightblades and Sorcs to be perfectly honest, although I believe all classes do great (if you know how to play them properly) at this point in time!

lol as of right now NB, Sorc, and More than 1 are all 7..... how ironic. I thought I'd be in the minority here with liking those two (for fun factor).

    Templar
Templar is my favorite, purely on style. The Heroic Knight. That about sums it up. I realize a lot of people play their Templars as healers, and I do that with the character from time to time, but that's really secondary to him rushing headlong into battle. As for the other classes, really they're all fun. Nightblade is a lot of fun to play, but I found in terms of leveling it had an 'ugly patch' in the middle levels on the road to Veteran. Once I go toward the top end levels though it was fantastic.

It is my hope though, that with spellcrafting and the champion system, that classes and races will mean nothing, except for the flavor of your gameplay as you level up. That's one thing I always loved in the TES games. You can start out a pure warrior, and end up becoming a mage. Its great.

I enjoyed healing on my Templar alt but I'll forever be a Sorcerer at heart.. Well, until a Necromancer class is released that is.

Based on what we know about spellcrafting thus far, I believe it really will knock down a lot of barriers between classes. However, class/race could still have some impact of course and is purely something that each of us will have our own preferences with. But yeah spellcrafting looks awesome and I like how there will also be so many AOE choices for all classes available.

I do think DKs are the funniest , but they are closely followed by sorcs. Quite enjoy lvling my alts a bit.

With that said , there is no class changes so my main will remain templar until i stop playing the game lols.

loll they are quite fun to play... it's not like the other classes. You basically feel like an assassin, which is what was intended obviously. You also can't go charging into a group of enemies like you could with a DK (not at Vet ranks anyway unless the nerf was so hard that now you can --- if someone can chime in on this I was already VR12 on my NB by the time the vet difficulty nerfs hit) unless you are doing the whole destro/restro/LA w/ a few siphons on your bar thing... which then imo, why bother playing a NB at all?

You pick NB if you want to play stealthy but deadly. You pick and choose your targets and prioritize them in battle. It's very much the most L2P class out of the 4. Most people will either love or hate/dislike playing as a NB because of this. I imagine it would be tough going from playing a DK to a NB, but going from a NB to anything else is an easy transition for sure (mostly due to constantly being in sneak mode as that is where your best damage, openers, and CC comes from).

Don't get me wrong, it's fun to dragon leap into a group of enemies with my DK... lots of fun. I just prefer to play with more of a challenge, tackling content on a NB at times can be a lot more difficult than the other classes.

Templars, I'm still a bit mixed in how I feel about playing one. It's definitely better than expected with all of the forum complaints and at least it seems to work properly. I'm not at VR12 with either DK or Temp yet so maybe my opinions will change somewhat by then ---- but every battle felt intense on a NB, I am not getting that feeling on other classes.

On that note: They don't need to nerf anything else in the game, just fix things that are being exploited, that aren't working, and add more to the game not take away! Simple.

For TL;DR: NBs are very L2P you either love it or hate it, for me I love that. But there is something I enjoy in each class so far!

As @ViciousWayz very eloquently put it, it's because of the L2P factor.
NBs gain the most from precise and thoughtful execution (and pay the most for failing to do so). The appeal is the challenge :)

Also, don't forget the RP aspect. Some folks like playing in the gray-to-dark side of the spectrum. For me, it's working for the Dominion, quietly excising those who don't sing the right song - keeping my blade bloody so Her Highness can keep hers clean o:)
Opinions are like buttholes : Everybody has one, and they usually stink.

    3 things to reduce stamina/magicka imbalance :
    - Use magicka to block abilities costing magicka, instead of stamina.
    - Add % damage reduction to heavy armor.
    - Add block penetration to 2H.

I just have a lot of fun sneaking around, and finding that one player that split up from the main group, then going invisible, sneaking behind them, and killing them in just a few seconds. it never gets old for me:) I also enjoy teleport striking into a large enemy group, killing a player, than rolling away and going invisible. and watching them frantically search for me. Good fun:)

    Sorcerer
I have a v12 DK and a v12 Sorc and have clocked loads of hours on PvP with both.

At the moment I enjoy my Sorc much better. I can kite people with impunity and escape when poop hits the fan. I can mass CC people with Streak and a well placed Negate can dictate a fight a lot better than a Standard. I feel like a little demon popping up here and there to wreak havoc, when I play my sorc.

The DK is still a powerful class but after the nerfs feels like a one trick pony. Invasion, Talons, Whip and Standard. Not to mention that the whole "spells critting with weapon crit" and the fact you're in the heart of the battle puts you in horrible dilemmas about what armour to wear.

A lot of the skills I used to like on my DK are now "PvE only skills" I find. Inhale, Engulfing Flames, Flames of Oblivion, Firey Grip etc.

Hey ***, currently slowly levelling a NB but too low level to comment yet.

Edit: I feel you need to have played at least 2 classes up to VR ranks to be able to objectively comment. If you've only levelled one char all the way, you have no way of making a direct comparison

Edit 2: Apparently the second word of "hey h-o" is being confused with street walkers by ZOS's profaninty filter :D

    Nightblade, absolutely.

Have one of each, Templar Healer, DK Reaver (2-hander/heavy ), DK Tank, Sorcerer Nuker and Nightbow Assassin ( Bow/ Dual Wield ), NB Healer and gonna try a NB tank because... well, Nightblade!!
Brunhilda Icehammer - Nord Dragonknight, 'Smith & Enchantress 'What is 'ranged? I need to hit something!!'
Laehl Direthorn - Bosmer Nightblade, Purveyor of fine Clothes, Bows and Staves
Reeza gra-Zuni - Orc Templar 'War Shaman' and Apothecary
Noemi Snowpaw - Kajiit Dragon Knight - I laugh... or I'd have to kill you.
Kitera Dreamon - Breton of The Dominion: Because those Daggers don't appreciate a great Mage.
Lysara Shadowcroft - Dunmer Bloodmage: This will only hurt a lot.

Those of us who played NBs when they were extremely "broken" kept on playing them because of the fun factor. I found ways to work around many things not working and I will say some of the skills are a lot of fun to use. But yeah, it's definitely the L2P bit. Some people just prefer to charge into battle and mash buttons which is fine if that's what you enjoy. Nightblades need to have some sort of action plan and red oh sh*t button just incase --- on hand at all times, if you want to be a dangerous force as a NB.

For those who maxed out a character, I highly recommend picking another class and giving it a whirl. I plan to get all 4 classes to VR12 eventually and I find enjoyment in the different playstyles I am finding between them all so far. It would be mighty boring if they all felt the same, so I believe ZOS did a great job with the diversity there.

I'd love to vote for "two or more", but right now, my Nightblade off-tank is waaaayyy too much fun for me to not vote pure Nightblade. It's both fun to play something a little off-the-wall as it is to hear people you group with whisper you with "Can you tell me how you're doing that? It looks like fun!"
