New button "Jump or Interact". Who's using it?

I just noticed this new button in the settings, and I suspect it is for the controller configuration coming. Since I use Xpadder, I just tried this button, and I like it. Anyone else notice it?

I noticed that, but haven't actually used it yet. It seems like it would be useful for controllers, but then again, I don't use a controller. I'm curious as to whether people with keyboards can find it useful as well.
