Pvping on an alt in Cyrodil.

Saw a cave with a skyshard in it. Decided to enter it and then go pvp more.

Went in. Got the shard. Tried to leave. Got a message, "You cannot enter, the area is full."

LoL, really? Tried /stuck. 45 minute cooldown timer. Tried to portal to a shrine. Cannot portal from the Cyrodil area.

Had to log out of that character for 20 minutes. Programmers for this game call it a, "soft reset."

Currently waiting in a queue with 62 people in front of me.

Zenimax, you are so awesome to imagine, program, and implement something so amazing as this feature.

Santa will not be visiting any Zenimax employees ever again.

Edit: 20 minutes and 50 seconds to get past the queue, and 20 for the soft reset. Nice.......

As far as I know you cannot use any quick travel options from within Cyrodiil. You can enter a different campaign though...or log out and give your space to someone else.

Simple solution to port out of Cyrodiil. Enter your Guest campaign (or Home campaign if you are on the Guest one). You'll get a message to accept it, accept it. It will put you at the wayshrine in that Guest campaign of which now may even have the room for you to go do what you need to without getting a full message. Or, you can then just from there repeat the same steps and Enter your Home campaign again.

This is currently the only 100% effective way to port to a Cyrodiil wayshrine until they implement some other method.

Did the change the Port to guild members Cyrodiil option since the patch? I was using it continuously 2 weeks ago to get all the "safe" shards.

Or is the OP issue confined to the Delves?

Also I was not "in" a campaign. I ported to a guild member and did the shards and ported back to the WorldShrine.

You can also suicide port to get to way shrine when in cyrodiil. I use spell symmetry and ravage health potions to die on command.

Considering opposing factions are more than capable of entering the same cave as you and having their way with you as much as they want, there's no reason caves and such shouldn't count to the total population of Cyrodiil.

Thornblade is the only campaign populated enough to PvE on and still encounter enemy alliances while you quest. Chillrend is empty half the time, and the other campaigns are dead.

So, for people like me who want a little open world pvp, thornblade is the ONLY option.

Neat , usually i dont mind this kind of thing , but you know what , all this PvP player entitlement of who goes where is getting me. You may have a right to force PvE players to play with you in cyro since that is how the game work , but you have none to tell them when OR where in there they should be playing.

I will make alt home this cyro , i will enter there and ALL i will do is run in circles just for the heck of it while i watch movies.
