Rare Motifs Achievement

Out of curiosity I'm wondering what everyone who currently has a maxed out crafter is doing about the motif achievements. if you have not noticed already there is an achievement and dye for learning all the rare motifs, but the game is not giving you credit for any motifs learned before dyes came out. Who is making a new crafter and finding the motifs to get the achieve? and what are your thoughts on being penalized for learning the motifs before the implementation of dyes?

I haven't learned any rare motifs, so I don't know if what you're describing is only affecting rare motifs or not, but my crafters have received credit for the motifs they've learned prior to the dye release. All three of my crafters had learned all the "common" motifs prior to dye release (motifs 1-9) and they all have credit for them. I would most certainly be upset had they not received credit for it, since it's not something you can remedy after the fact.

I had all the motifs before the dyes were added and I do have the Rare motif dye

am I the only one who's achievements say no items deconed and no motifs learned, I assumed this was happening to everyone.

They didn't start counting/saving the number of decons (or refines) until after the dye was added, so you have to do those from 0. Motifs should be fixed though.

What if you are an Imperial can you get it? You can't learn the Imperial motif.

they didn't start counting motifs till dyes either. They should either fix it or let us re-learn our motifs. If I have to obtain them again, I would rather not have to grind a new toons crafting up high enough for daedric..

imperial should come knowing the imperial motif, should they not? if not it should be learnable. I have imperial edition and have learned the imperial motif. Even though I have imperial edition, I wanted the motif for the lore.
