Stamina Bowplar Build

Hello all,

I want to make a pure archer build. I have come to the conclusion class doesn't matter if I am going as a stamina build. So I choose templar (favorite class). What I could use help with is the build itself. What weapon skills to use, any class passives that would work well, what armor to wear (all medium?) and even what class skills will be useful without needing a ton of magicka. If anyone can give me their opinion on this build that would be great!

Also if there is already a thread about this, I apologize in advance and would appreciate if someone just linked to that thread. Thanks everyone!

I can't help you with build very much as a Templar, but I wanted to say I agree, I've been looking at other classes and I think I can pretty much make my bow build with any class in the, I'm trying to work out if I want a DK or a Temp right now to see how they match up to my NB bow build.

All medium armor with all the +dmg items you can find works great for me as a nb.
    Saet - stam nb
    Hordak - magicka nb
    Demigorgon - stam sorc

The only passive I can see that applies to a bow build for Templar is Balanced Warrior.
For NIghtblade (my build) there is Master Assassin, Refreshing Shadow, Shadow Barrier which directly affect ranged weapon attacks (as well as melee etc.) and general defense. Dark Veil is also very helpful for Shadow Cloak which I use constantly in combat. Getting the 70% Crit bonus coming out of Shadow Cloak is huge, with a couple of other bonuses it puts at 100%. Using Snipe and then going to Shadow Cloak is often hilarious.
I don't see any real bonus for choosing Templar for Archers.

Templar's get a pretty solid stamina regeneration bonus from Restoring Aura just being on your bars. The income of keeping it active should theoretically work very well in facilitating getting many bow abilities off.

Also, Templar gets binding javelin which gives you a solid magicka based knockdown and then you have the heals of course, which are certainly nice.

Yeah it's the heals without needing a staff or a target to hit which make Templar bow's interesting.

I slowly try every weapon my templar, started with two handed, after i recognize i need more protection, i change to one hand and shield in heavy armor ... reach V4. Then many guild mates say light armor and destro staff is more capable. I try and max, but don't like fight style with destro, meanwhile maxed dual wield, which fight animation is more better, but don't so useful as 1+shield. After destro and dual is maxed, i follow the learning and change to bow + resto staff, in light + few med armor. So now i use bow mainly which one is have really good action combat mechanism. Work well in v6->v9 pve

    My action bar is:

    Toppling Charge
    Puncturing Sweep
    Draining Shot
    Blazing Shield / Scorched Earth
    Honor the Dead
    Empowering Sweep / Solrar Prison

I start fight with hide + heavy attack follow by Scorched Earth or Blazing Shield ( only heavy enemy ) , Toppling Charge to close combat with Puncturing Sweep if someone is make some slow skill against me i interrupt with Draining Shot which one is my preferred bow skill, great tool to position my enemy to correct place and give opportunity to use Toppling Charge to keep stunning.

This set is work well vs. boss also.

It's not about the passives, but utility. The Templar passives increase this utility.

Eclipse for casters from range. Cleansing Ritual is the cheapest purge available (and has a small AOE heal). Backlash for spike damage. And if someone gets too close - Puncturing Strikes (on the alternate weapon bar).
