Yeah, but did you know that you can spend skill points to morph your abilities and increase their power? I feel like that's somehow a helpful hint that could have saved you there.

That's nuts!! So glad they've recognized it and are fixing it 2day. In another post a group that fought a sorc (just one against a whole group) couldn't defend against him. In that post, it was clear that their strategy was off, so many (including myself) blamed their loss on that. This damage scale bug I think was at play in that situation. Haven't been able find the post again, but I'm willing to admit that their issue was probably not all based on poor strategy. Seriously, who can defend against a hit like that? Elite or not, that shot is just raw power and will take anyone down.
