Friendly Maormer?

Is there any friendly Maormer who isn't dead I can visit?
This includes prisoners. I can't seem to find any.

After the Khenarthi's Roost quests all the Maormer vanished, even the ones who appeared to not be military. And every time a Maormer prisoner is taken they vanish post-quest.

Is there any place where I can find a living non-hostile Maormer?

There should still be at least a few maormer at mistral (khenarthi's roost) even after finishing the quests.

I'm pretty sure not. The only time I've found maormer to talk to is on Khenarthi's Roost. Then you'll see them again around Auridon, Malabal Tor, and then that one group dungeon whose name escapes me.

Funny I'm not the only one who wanted to go back and look at one up close.

I would love it if they made this a playable race later, but probably not going to happen

One thing that disappointed me with AD is that there are no quests that involves a Maormer that defects to the Dominion.

Their not that interesting to look at really its pretty much just a reshaded dunmer.

No, They're closer to White-ish skinned Altmer with white eyes and unique skin condition.
(The Skin condition is part of the Sea Viper Armor disguise, but the skincolor and eyes is not)

And still, their culture, lore and such would still merit them playability.
Or at the very least a living npc somewhere so I can look at them and study them.
Like I did with Gelebor in Dawnguard.

Pfft the Maormer. Think they're so great with their elaborate boats and their nictitating membranes and their accents. Their nictitating membranes dont even nictitate, theyre always just on. What a bunch of jerks.

What? Don't they live in New Zealand? They're all friendly and very relaxed or so I'm told. I'd like to get out that way someday too. On my bucket list.

I would have liked to play a Maormer too. By the way, Maormer were supposed to have >Clear Skin< in the past. I was half expecting that in this game. Maybe it would have been too gory. That or like many books of lore in the series, its only partly right. Clear could just mean near-clear.

That or.. The guard who was in love with someone in the Island. I could also see him deciding to stay.

EDIT: Good news, I found a living Maormer In Khenarthi's Roost. He's in the first camp you go to. There is a tower, and he's still there as a prisoner, it's the tower with the stormcloud and water he conjured.
